GIVE ME ALL THE LETTUCE WRAPS... Who doesn’t love a healthy easy lettuce wrap! Simple and what’s great is the ingredients are everyday items and the prep to eat time is 30 mins!!! *** like /share and comments are appreciated Ingredients 1 tsp. sesame oil 1 lb. 93% lean ground turkey 1 Tbsp. chopped thai chili peppers deveined and seeded 1 c. Thai Peanut sauce 2 carrots grated 1 bunch green onions chopped 1/3 peanuts chopped 1 head butter lettuce handful cilantro chopped (optional) Instructions Add sesame oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add turkey and cook and crumble for 2-3 minutes. Drain off any excess liquid and add the peppers and thai peanut sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes over low. Serve the turkey mixture in butter lettuce cups topped with carrots, green onions, chopped peanuts & cilantro. Rachel Barhoum Harshfield

Last January I returned to work after taking 3 weeks off during the holidays🎄 Those 3 weeks has been remarkable. Our family 👨‍👩‍👧was able to spend so much quality time together. . My first day back at the gym I had a huge realization. My ❤️ wasn’t in training anymore. It was at home 🏡. The career I had built a deep passion for was no longer giving me the happiness I desired. . I called Tyler and told him I no longer wanted to run this business. He immediately asked if I was okay because he knew my passion for health & fitness 💪🏼. I told him everything was fine, I simply needed to walk away from this part of my life. The amazing, supportive man that he is didn’t bat an eye saying “Okay, you do what you need to. I love you.” ❤️ . I knew I needed to prepare for this. I spent the next 4 months slowly cutting back with training while focusing on my Plexus business. I didn’t want to leave our family without that extra income. . The first week of May, I walked away. A part of me was sad 😢 I had loved my career. The other part of me was overjoyed. It’s 17 days in the new year. How are your resolutions going? I hope you’re crushing it and making progress! A goal I started on January 1 was to focus more on my nutrition. I didn’t have any specific goals in 2018 so I enjoyed life and let my body slide a bit. Especially around the holidays 🍕🍪. . It’s all good because this shit happens. The beauty is you can decide any second you want to get back on track. I chose to do so after the holidays. I’m a firm believer to position yourself to lose fat at the easiest and best time for your life. I don’t have a specific weight I want to reach but rather focusing on things that are in my control: Food quality/quantity Working out Sleeping Hydrating I’ll do this for about 90 days and see where I’m at. I’ll update along the way and give any tips that I’m struggling with in hopes that it may help you in your journey. Current Macros: 2500 Calories 200g Protein 265g Carbs 70g Fats 35-45g Fiber Starting weight: 206.5 lbs Current weight: 198.7 lbs Initially lost about 5 pounds the first week due to not eating as much and most likely water being stored.
